Santos Expert Flooring Inc is a flooring contractor in Hudson, Massachusetts. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

The short version: we collect what you type into the estimate form so we can call you back and quote your job. We don't sell it, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't track you around the internet.

What we collect

When you fill out the estimate form, we receive what you choose to enter:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your address or town
• Details about the job — property type, service, rooms, square footage, timeline, budget range, preferred visit time, and any notes you add
• Any photos you attach of your existing floor

All of it is optional except your name and phone number, which we need in order to call you back.

When you simply browse the site, we don't collect anything about you. This site has no advertising trackers, no analytics, and sets no cookies. Our web host, Netlify, keeps standard server records of requests — including IP addresses — as part of operating and securing the service, the same as any website host.

What we do with it

We use your information to contact you about your estimate, to prepare a quote, and to carry out the work if you hire us. That's it. We don't use it for marketing lists, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Who else sees it

A short list, and only where the service is needed to get your message to us:

• Netlify hosts this website and runs the small program that processes the form.
• Resend delivers the form as an email to our inbox.
• Google provides the Gmail inbox that email lands in.

If we later add text-message alerts, a messaging provider would carry the alert to our phone — it would contain your name, number and job details, and nothing more.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

The reviews on this site

The Google ratings and reviews shown on our home page are fetched by our own server from Google's Places service and then displayed to you. Your browser doesn't contact Google to load them, so visiting this site doesn't tell Google anything about you.

How long we keep it

• Estimate requests stay in our business email so we have a record of quotes and jobs.
• Photos you attach stay with that email. We don't publish a customer's photos on this website, on social media or anywhere else without asking you first.
• Server logs from the form program are kept for about 7 days by our host, as a backup in case an email fails to arrive, then discarded automatically.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete the information you sent us, or to correct it, or tell us what we hold. Call 339-224-3859 or email leo.santosexpertflooringinc@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. There's no form to fill in and you don't need to give a reason.

If you're a Massachusetts resident, you also have rights under state law regarding your personal information, and we'll honor a request whether or not the law happens to require it of a business our size.

Advertising

We advertise our services on Google and may advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you contact us through an ad form on one of those platforms, the platform collects your details and passes them to us, and its own privacy policy governs what it does with them. Once the information reaches us, this policy applies.

This website itself carries no advertising trackers today. If that changes — for example if we add an advertising pixel or website analytics — we will update this page to say so before or at the time we do.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions travel encrypted to our email. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send anything highly sensitive — financial account details, government ID numbers — through the form. We never ask for those to quote a floor.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
